Beyond the Classroom: Traditions, Sports & Discovery
At Infill Academy, learning extends far beyond textbooks and lecture halls. We believe that true character, resilience, and leadership are forged through active participation in sports, scientific inquiry, the performing arts, and community engagement. Our calendar is rich with signature school traditions and regular co-curricular events that nurture well-rounded, confident learners.
The Infill Annual Marathon & 5km Community Run
Initiated in 2018 during Infill Academy's 25-Year Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Infill Annual Marathon has grown into one of our most anticipated traditions. This exhilarating 5-kilometer run winds through the vibrant Embakasi and Komarock neighborhood, bringing together pupils, parents, teachers, alumni, and local leaders.
The event is traditionally flagged off in spectacular fashion, led by the esteemed Administration Police Service Brass Band in full ceremonial attire, followed closely by our disciplined Infill Scouts Troop and hundreds of energetic young runners advocating for physical wellness and active living.

- 5km Secured Route: Carefully marshaled course through Komarock Phase 3A with top-tier student safety.
- Ceremonial Brass Band & Scouts: Led by the Administration Police Service Brass Band and Infill Scouts.
- Inclusive Community Engagement: Pupils from kindergarten through junior secondary run shoulder-to-shoulder with parents.

- Dedicated Thursday Lab Sessions: Weekly hands-on experimentation and mentored laboratory investigations.
- National Science Congress Pathway: Regular participation and strong podium finishes at sub-county, county, and national levels.
- Environmental & Renewable Energy Projects: Pupil-led innovations addressing clean water, waste recycling, and solar solutions.
